For builders in grades 6-8 who want to design, build, and program real robots. Campers work with VEX IQ and FIRST LEGO League Challenge platforms while sharpening problem-solving and teamwork.
Grades 6-8 · VEX IQ & FIRST LEGO League · Half- or full-day weeks

STEMForce Academy’s Robotics Camps are hands-on STEM summer camps for students in grades six through eight who love robotics, engineering, and competition-based challenges. Campers design, build, and program robots using platforms such as VEX IQ and FIRST LEGO League Challenge while developing problem-solving, teamwork, and strategic thinking — a strong foundation for future robotics teams and advanced STEM pathways.
Assemble working robots from the ground up using professional VEX IQ kits.
Program robots to move, sense, and complete missions with real logic and sequencing.
Take on FIRST LEGO League-style challenges as a team and test designs head-to-head.
Iterate, troubleshoot, and improve — the same process real engineers use.
Each week features themed camps with independent morning and afternoon sessions, so families can choose half-day or full-day without repeating activities.
New theme every week keeps campers excited and learning all summer long.
Independent morning and afternoon sessions mean no repeated activities.
Trained instructors keep every camper engaged, challenged, and safe.
Our STEM camps run from our academy in downtown Martinsburg, WV, welcoming families from across Berkeley County and the Eastern Panhandle — plus nearby Charles Town, Hagerstown, MD, and Winchester, VA.

Our Robotics Camps are designed for students in grades 6-8. Activities are scaled to each camper’s experience, from first-time builders to students preparing for competition teams.
No experience is required. Instructors guide every camper from the basics, and more advanced students are challenged with harder builds and missions.
Campers work with VEX IQ and FIRST LEGO League Challenge, the same platforms used by competitive school and club teams.
Both. Each week has independent morning and afternoon sessions, so you can register for half-day or full-day without repeated activities.
